Outrageous Heroes!

In an ungrateful world, we are called to be different. We are to see the world differently. We are to see circumstances differently. Our goal is to see things as Jesus sees them. We call this a Christian World View. The more you study the life, the words, the teachings of Jesus. The more you learn the heart of God for His people and His creation. The more you will begin to see things from His point of view. Now of course this is countered by the world at every turn. If we spend more time watching and reading the news, interacting on facebook, and absorbing media of all forms than we do chasing after the heart and mind of God then it will be very hard to have a Biblical or Christian worldview.

We want to turn things in His direction. We want His Word to be the filter that we run everything through. Our theme verse for this series is

2 Corinthians 9:15

15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

One of the greatest gifts that God has given us is His Word. This week we will be taking a look at 4 outrageous heroes found in Hebrews 11. They are remembered for their outrageous faith as well as their outrageous flaws. How does their story relate to ours?
