Transitioning from a longtime fan to an industry figure, Jordan Mafi has given a voice to notable and up-and-coming artists alike and provided her own through a number of outlets. Serving as the former executive editor of NEST HQ and a host for Insomniac Radio, Jordan’s original goal of becoming a music journalist has evolved to moving the needle in electronic music. She’s currently a curator for Beatport, acting as a community manager for genres including dubstep, electro house, hard dance, and more. She’s also a curator in her own right, launching her monthly hardcore playlist series Serious Damage in 2019. As a graduate with a bachelor's degree in journalism from San Diego State University, Jordan continues to find new methods of storytelling for the electronic music community; Jordan is currently pursuing a master's degree in music industry business from Berklee College of Music.
