In this episode, I am so excited to introduce Julia Kestner (@juliakestnerdesigns), an Asian American illustrator who uses her creative voice to uplift social justice movements by creating art that focuses on important issues such as mental health, gender equality, women’s rights, and racial justice.

• Julia’s experience with finding her identity and a sense of belonging as a biracial, growing up in Japan and later moving to the U.S. 
• How she found her purpose through art 
• How she broke through the “model minority myth” and found her voice and courage to share her creative work How she defines success as a Creator 
• How gave herself the permission to leave her 9-5 to pursue art as a full-time entrepreneur

She strives to normalize inclusion in the illustration world by creating positive, empowering, and uplifting artwork that not only inspires her audience, but also helps create lasting and meaningful change.
