New month means new theme with this month's theme being, "If you mess with mother nature, she will bite back" where I will be focusing on nature horror/eco horror themed movies. Starting the theme off with the totally creepy and underrated, 2008's "The Ruins." The Mistress of the Menagerie discusses our flight or fight response, the human psyche (Id, Ego, and Superego), and how the deadly plants can be seen as a metaphor for disease. Come check it out!
