Mary channels Geoffrey Patterson, a wealthy English man who died in the USA in the early 1940's when he was 89 years old. He is the spokesperson for a group of influential men who passed 50 to 400 years ago. They ask Jesus why he feels they are amongst the spirits who have a negative influence on humankind. They are helped to understand the earth bound condition, the sin of influencing others against God's Laws, the consequences of their behaviour, and beginning a connection with God. Topics include; the reason for the varying brightness of people on earth and in the spirit world, the contrast of true power compared with taking power over others, why these spirits are earthbound, were these spirits are in the spirit world, how they are breaking God's Laws of Love, how their condition has worsened since they arrived in the spirit world, the reasons why their condition has worsened, how to determine whether God exists, the contrast between their own condition, and the condition of a spirit in the Celestial spheres or in the higher spheres, and the emotions involved in working through their condition.
