Selena Arellano is on quite the journey of growth. She is the founder of Jefa Behavior which is an online community space for empowering every day mujeres while learning and unlearning. She is a brilliant student of life a traveler a reader she recently spent the last three years working at a nonprofit as a research Coordinator where she was able to assist and create community based projects that bring empowerment and break the stigmas of Latinos in North County San Diego. In 2018 she launched Jefa Behavior to help support Latinas on their path of personal empowerment and growth. As being Latina myself, I have witnessed the social stigmas as well as some of the cultural standards that have been a setback for Latinas. But as the personal development space evolves, it’s time to start the conversation of change and some of the deep rooted unconscious behaviors we inherit as a culture and how to look at them differently. Join me as we talk all things mujer and the evolution of the latina in modern times.
