Being a disabled female from an ethnic minority, Yehee Son has most definitely experienced roadblocks in her life. And yet through it all, she's persevered. In today's episode, Yehee tells her life story about growing up in an abusive home, going through high school not knowing whether she would be able to make college due to her status as an alien, and how certain influential people in her life made her want to be the teacher she is today. She talks about the advantages and disadvantages of teaching with cerebral palsy and her reasoning behind starting a TikTok channel (heyms.cp) which has already accumulated over 4500 followers since December.
