Consuela Perry was born and raised in Smithfield, NC and she currently resides there. She's a country girl at heart. She started storytelling at a young age where she would write little stories in her notebooks. Only when she was in 8th grade did she start writing poetry. Her first poem "Just Another Day" was used as an emotional outlet to deal with her parents' divorce and from there she realized she was good at poems.
After many years of writing, she published her first poetry collection in December 2020. She's currently working on a second poetry collection and a novel. Her favorite writers are Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Khaled Hosseini.
