Louis, a New Orleans born vampire tells his two century story of how he was born into Darkness, his love for the child vampire Claudia and his toxic relationship with his maker Lestat. His lasting impression is captured in this horror/romance film about betrayal, regret, choices and a long term self healing to self preservation of his vampire life and the stronghold letting go of humanity in the most violent death of his beloved. Louis the most unique and loved character of the movie shows his faults as a human and vampire. And Lestat is a narcissist bum, using Louie as a supply.
