Welcome to Episode 21 of Upstream Downstream. This week our host David Welch recaps a workshop our Student Advisory Council put on titled, "Let's Get Civil". The Student Advisory Council is the Stubblefield Institute’s extra-curricular campus link to students of all majors. They hosted Dr. Lindsey Levitan, an associate professor at Shepherd University who specializes in political psychology. In this workshop, Dr. Levitan discusses the barriers and biases involved in political discussion and offers suggestions on how to tackle difficult topics with loved ones.
