Welcome to Episode 22. Our host, David Welch, is joined by two students, Jordan Jalil and Alyssa Nazarok, to discuss their views on current issues. Jordan is a Shepherd University senior double majoring in political science and economics. She serves as captain of Shepherds debate and forensics team. Jordan also serves as the inaugural student member of the board of advisors for the Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communications and was a 2020 Truman Scholarship finalist. Following graduation, Jordan plans on attending law school.
Alyssa Nazarok also attends Shepherd University, majoring in Political Science and Global Studies. She serves as president of the Young Democrats Club, and in 2020 was inducted into the National Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi and was a 2021 Truman Scholarship finalist. Alyssa is also the Captain of the Shepherd soccer team, and Vice President of the Stubblefield Student Advisory Council. Following graduation, Aly plans to pursue her master’s degree in public policy.
