Description

One of the things that I love so much about horror movies (that are done well) is that they peel back that masks that humanity wears to conceal it's darker side: doubt, guilt, insecurity, hubris, fear - all of the things that are a natural part of humanity, but the roots of horror when taken to excess. One of the masters of exposing the darkness of humanity was Edgar Allen Poe, which is part of why his stories have endured and continue to be retold. In tonight's episode, I talk to Kevin and Jennifer Sluder of Sunshine Boy Productions about their short, Heartless - a take on Poe's "The Tell Tale Heart." So, grab your coffee, a muffin, and make sure to smile as I talk to Kevin and Jennifer about what is at the heart of Heartless!
