My students are coming to the building for instruction tomorrow. I decided to pray instead of worrying about what if...
I Pray for My Students
There comes a time where I am overwhelmed with concerns for my students ends and faith begins, but through prayer, I ask God to accompany my students wherever they go. In a world filled with uncertainty and violence, I pray over my students' safety.
Praying for my students brings me peace, comfort, and confidence that my students are well emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
I pray over my students' future. When I pray, I meditate about the decisions that my students are facing. I trust that my students are on the path to happiness and success.
I am confident that my students are making good choices in their friendships, relationships, and careers.
Prayer is the force that intersects my vision for my students with the reality that they are making decisions for themselves.
Whenever I pray, I visualize the type of relationship I want to have with my students and what it takes to achieve that relationship. I reflect on ways to nurture our relationship, causing it to grow stronger with each passing day.
Today, I choose to pray for my students because, even though my influence on them may lessen as they grow older, my dreams for them will stand forever.
