Boy, oh boy, have there been lots of legacy sequels over the last few years and this week we talk about them and their effect on movies and stuff. Here's a good definition of "legacy sequels" if you don't immediately know, as pulled from Google.com:
"A legacy sequel is a work that follows the continuity of the original work(s), but takes place further along the timeline, often focusing on new characters with the original ones still present in the plot."
