Yesterday was a long day. I was fed up and felt miserable. I wasn’t in the mood for doing much or speaking to anyone.

In the past this could have lasted days or even weeks. I’m much more aware of when it happens and why now. I accept it and I don’t feel guilty for doing nothing or keeping quiet.

However as always it’s not a feeling I choose or want to have. But I do have a choice. I can send myself on a downward path, I can jump up in a burst of energy or I can take my time.

I don’t like the first choice, yesterday I went for take my time.

It’s important to understand what can trigger these dips in mood, you may not always understand it and that’s ok. You can remove them, however I would recommend dealing with the problem, this of course takes time. So don’t feel so bad when you have a bad day, or a re-lapse.

Time heals, the past teaches lessons, but it’s not a place to stay! Today is a brand new day and I’m in a better mindset because of the choice I made 🌞

We have a choice! Make a decision today that your future self will thank you for!
