Hard times can weigh like a heavy rock, added to a back pack of rocks that already has rocks from everyday life or problems and stresses that have built up over a period of time.
I remember when I felt like this too!
It was a horrible and life changing experience I don’t want to allow myself to go through again.
When I look back knowing what I know, I can see the warning signs appearing one by one.
I began to feel more stress, pressure and alone.
Some days it felt like I was standing on a boat at sea.... I was working flat out, while trying to balance everything else in life. I was exhausted and suppressing many negative feelings and emotions, until one day I finally admitted I was suffering with depression.
It’s a very limiting feeling. But once you admit this, you can start taking steps to move forward.
Start to let go of things and thoughts that hold you back. Begin to believe in yourself again.
People you least suspect will be there to support you.
Take your time. Think about how you want to feel. The changes you want to make.
Write these down.
Find people who can support you in your journey. Start a new hobby or consider a new career. Try new things.
Some days you may need to rest and that’s ok.
Other days tell yourself to get up and get out!
I nearly fell into the habit of feeling more and more depressed.
You get what you focus on. Take it one day at a time. Go through the emotions.
When you look back you will see just how strong you really are and have become!
You have the ability to take control.
