1. Authority - 1 John 5:3 - For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
Reaction: Love and Obey God
2. Humility - Matthew 22:37-40 - And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.
Reaction: Deny Self- Jesus washed his disciple's feet. Be humble, serve others.
3. Purpose - Psalm 139:13 - For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
Reaction: He has a purpose and plan for your life.
4. Value - Luke 20:24-25 - Show me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?” They said, “Caesar's.” 25 He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”
Reaction: Image bearers of God. Everyone is just as valuable. Humans are the currency of heaven.
5. Hope - Micah 6:8 - He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God.
Reaction: Live Life with Hope.
