What We will NOT / Can NOT Change
1. God
Malachi 3:6 - God is always willing to accept our repentance. That does not change!
Numbers 23:19 - God is always Truthful. That does not change.
1 Samuel 15:29 - God's promises & plans will always be kept
James 1:13-17 - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. 14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Psalm 102:27 -but you are the same, and your years have no end.
Psalm 18:30 - This God-his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
2. Gospel - our message
The Gospel is Grace to you and peace from God
Galatians 1: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
There is only one Gospel
Galatians 1: 6 - I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel - 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
Danger - Do not change the Gospel!
Galatians 1:8-9 - But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
Don't try to please man. Please God!
Pleasing God should be more important than pleasing people.
