2. Delusions of Denial - False belief or opinion - in USA people don't think that Satan exists
We have a REAL enemy - Satan and his minions
1. He is ParaNormal - Para - beyond - we do not see
2. Personal - our struggle, Satan hates you, wants to destroy you
3. Powerful
He has ONLY extreme EVIL intent
1 Peter - prowls like a roaring lion
He is a Master of deception
John 8 - Father the devil - he is a liar and the father of lies. He destroys
II Corinthians 2 - angel of light
We are behind enemy lines
1 John 5:9 - If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
1 Cor 4:4 - For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judges me is the Lord.
Eph 2:2 - Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience.
Acts 26:18 - To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Should we just surrender?
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Are we going to turtle up - go into our shell? Are we going to surrender?
Are we going to fight?
Romans 8:37 - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us
John 16:33 -These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
2 Corinthians 4:7 - But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
I John 5:4 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
