Description

This week’s message reminded us that there’s a deeper reality to our lives and faith—one that’s rooted in communion with God through prayer. In Luke 11, the disciples ask Jesus to teach them to pray, and He gives both a pattern (the Lord’s Prayer) and an invitation to persistent prayer: keep asking, seeking, and knocking, even when heaven feels silent. We’re reminded that God isn’t distant—He is a loving Father—and prayer shapes us into humble people who surrender our will, seek forgiveness, and rely on the Holy Spirit. We also heard a powerful testimony from Dominic about how God used an unexpected diagnosis to lead her into deeper surrender and how the faithful prayers of God’s people became tangible strength through miracle after miracle. In the end, we pray because life is uncertain, God is faithful, and we cannot trust—or pray—enough.
