In today's clip Sae'Von speaks on why you should think deeply about how you factor other people into your own equations.
TRANSCRIPT
There's a teacher by the name of - really wise guy, metaphysicist - named Seven Bomar. He made a really good point about how when you factor other people in, you reunin your own equations. And so, oftentimes, the reason I bring that up, someone can make the example that "But, these people did this! BUT, they go to school & that happened for them, BUT.." Is that you though? What works for them doesn't mean it's going to work for you. People will then offload their own ownership about learning about something and experiencing things for themselves. That happens, I think, because people by and large are in the "default mode network" where they still just want to be told what to do. "Oh, well someone told me to do Keto." "Someone told me to do this." Or "Someone told me to get this job." Or "Someone told me to get this degree." "Someone told me I should marry her." "My mom thinks I should do this." What the fuck do YOU think!?
