I get the opportunity to interview August Huckabee, frontman and the brainchild behind Westrock. He grew up on a farm in West Texas and that greatly influenced his music, but another big influence on his music has been the outdoor lifestyle of his new home in Colorado. He sings about life in a resort town in Life from a Lift Chair and river adventures in Welcome to the River. His Sound is incredible and his lyrics are poetry.
