Papa Ray Hurst is a husband married 36 years to the same incredible woman, a father of two amazing children, a successful personal transformation coach, international speaker, trainer, writer, poet, pastor, and business owner.
Papa Ray’s heart and passion is helping people to improve their life. As a self-employed business owner for the last 35 years, Papa Ray knows the struggles of raising a family and trying to operate a business.
He also knows how hard life can knock you to your knees when things go sideways. He struggled through a major depression 27 years ago and lost everything.
He felt the sting of rejection as he watched everything he had worked so hard for being taken away in a moment. The hardest part was knowing that no one was willing to step up and help.
Struggling with some success and a lot more failure over the next 20 years, Papa Ray was at the end of his rope. He had given up on everything, even on the hope that God would help him anymore.
One night he planned out how to end it all, like so many times before. Only this time, the anger, the bitterness, the rejection, the feelings of being utterly hopeless, was more than he could handle.
5 minutes before he was able to carry out his plans, an overwhelming sensation rose up in him, as the anger against the depression that was about to take his life rose up he knew he had to fight back.
Now over 7 years later, Papa Ray is sharing what he learned walking through his struggles.
After failing to find anyone that was able to understand the deeper truths of life, Papa Ray and his wife Willa knew they would have to find it on their own.
With the leading of the Holy Spirit, they are now seeing a life-changing breakthrough in less than 4 hours on a consistent basis with their coaching clients.
Papa Ray writes and develops 95% of the programs that they use to lead people to freedom, including the “Father’s Blessing.” After 4 mission trips to Brazil to share this blessing, they now see this as one of the most powerful tools they use to help people find the truth.
Now they have expanded into the corporate world with Emotional Awareness Training, Executive Coaching, and Leadership Conflict Resolution.
