In the first episode of season 2, I spoke with Jason Schwartz, PhD, Associate Professor of Health Policy and the History of Medicine at the Yale School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine. We talked about vaccine policy and innovations that have emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, public health policy decision making and the ethics of various medical interventions, the processes by which health regulations are formulated and implemented, and long-term takeaways from COVID-19, especially as it relates to improving our overall health and being better prepared for future disease threats.
