In this episode, I spoke with Tom D’Aunno, PhD, Professor of Management at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Dr. D’Aunno’s research and teaching focus on the organization and management of healthcare services. We talked about his career in health policy and management, how COVID-19 has shaped healthcare organizations' operations and healthcare delivery more broadly moving forward, trends in health services, his research on treatment systems for substance-use disorders in addition to Accountable Care Organizations and their similarities, our increased awareness and cognizance of public health today, and reflections on a career in public health and health administration.
