Description

In this episode, Gannon and Bryce interview a very intelligent, hard working, entrepreneur style of a person, Jason Hermann. Jason Hermann has had undeniable success with two different sports while growing up. He has made an impact with the Stockton Blackhawks in both wrestling and football. Wrestling is the sport he chose to continue at the college ranks while committing to Central College in Iowa. However, he has made an insane impact on the football team. Leaving behind a current statline (one game left) of 459 attempts, 2,327 yards, and 21 TD's (averaging 5.1 yards per carry over the course of his career). Throughout this interview we get to know Jason as a person before we dive into the athletic success. He actually makes clothes too. He has helped several businesses out in his area and has made t-shirts for his friends as well. The impact this young man has had in the athletic arenas is undeniable, but adding an impact to his community on top of it speaks volumes about his character. Ultimately, we discuss his playing career and the shape it took throughout all the years, what it means to be a 'Stockton Blackhawk', a description of the NUIC conference, similarities between wrestling and football, and how being a student before an athlete always comes first. If you want to hear the story of a young man who does it all for his community, you are at the exact place you need to be.
