In this episode, Gannon and I dive into the importance of supporting your local communities. Instead of being joined by Josh Buisker (TikTok Manager) this episode, we were joined by Jemea Green. Jemea works at the News Station in Rockford, Illinois at Channel 13 WREX and for her first big story, she has decided to tell ours. We were fortunate to have her join this episode and look forward to our audience getting to know her when she tells our story. For us personally, we live in the 815 area in Freeport, Illinois. Some surrounding areas consist of Dakota, Lena, Orangeville, Dakota, Durand, Pecatonica, Rockford, and Stockton. Two local athletes growing up in the 815 area being Fred VanVleet and James Robinson have shown it is possible to win at the highest level in sports and still find ways to give back to your local community. Outside of sports, your community depends on you to provide so it can continue to flourish. In this episode, we give an inside look at just how important our podcast has been to giving back to our community and even some future plans that we have for the summer ahead with our community. All the money in the world can make it seem like everything is perfect, however with support, love, trust, and power we can bring our communities back together.
