In this episode, Gannon and Bryce interview another 815 guy (our hometown/area) and applaud him for all of his hard work and dedication on the field and off of it. Marey is a student-athlete at Lena-Winslow High School in Lena, Illinois. He has been an athlete since he was born and playing football, baseball, wrestling, and participating in track and field all while growing up. He has always been a shifty player that is very elusive with his jump-cuts and speed. Thus, allowing him to play the running back position for the Panthers. However, his junior season was cut short after game one due to a tough injury. He has now bounced back in time for his senior season and has led the Panthers to a 2-0 start on their season. Lena-Winslow is known for winning state championships, and the hope is Marey can help lead them to a conference and state title before his exit of the program.
