My name is Jon Strohbehn; I am the founder and director of Paranormal Houston Investigations, a 501C3 non-profit. We provide paranormal investigations at no charge to individuals that have concerns that they have paranormal activity, and they need help finding resolutions for the activity. I am the Assistant Director of the South Texas Chapter of United Paranormal International that provides information and knowledge to paranormal groups worldwide.
We (Paranormal Houston Investigations or PHI) are working with a television documentary film crews filming programs for television. I have been the frequent guest of internet radio programs that include Ghost Chatter, Paranormal Palace, Spirit Rescue, Viewen, Nocturnal Frequency, Haunted Times Magazine, and Phantom Magazine programs. I have been leading and instructing paranormal investigators for seventeen years.
I have had paranormal experiences all my life starting at a young age. Many dreams that warn of impending danger have saved my life on several occasions. I spent ten years as a fireman/paramedic and rescue captain that gave me numerous opportunities to observe the paranormal. In 2007 the paranormal became a popular subject on television. It was an outlet for my wife who was bedridden for years, and I thought I might use it to motivate her to get out of bed and get well. I formed the Houston Ghost Town Meet-up group to see if there were others that were interested in the paranormal and if they wanted to share their experiences with others like themselves. I have taught the Basics of Paranormal Investigating at Leisure Learning Unlimited, College of the Mainland and lately been using YouTube as an avenue to train new investigators. https://www.youtube.com/@JonStrohbehn/videos.
