Kandi Green Gonzalez remains have been positively identified as of April 2022 two years after she when missing. In other news; Vanessa Baker, of Breathitt County, disappeared during flooding in Eastern Kentucky in July 2022 and was later declared dead. Her body has not been found, as of July 2023.
