Do good people go to heaven? What does it even mean to be "good" and who decides it? Most people like to believe that all good people go to heaven or that they'll go to heaven as long as they do more good than bad. But that is one of the greatest lies in our society today.
If you have ever done anything wrong in your life (and we all have), then you are not a good person. Just like in a court of law, God judges us not on our good deeds, but on the laws that we have broken. We are all guilty and fall short of the glory of God. But thankfully, God sent Jesus as a sacrifice for the punishment that we all deserve. When we accept Christ as our king, it is now longer we who live but Christ who lives in us.
Don't let your friends and family believe the lie that simply being a good person will get you into heaven. Instead, share the truth of Jesus Christ.
