Why do we default to no? It can be great for somethings like setting boundaries but what does it do to your kids? Or how about your wife?
How many times in your life do you hear NO! How has it shaped how you respond to people now? Especially those close to you.
Most people won't get on a phone call or interact, cold call if for fear of the NO!
What if that leaves people looking beyond you for a YES?
Your kids, your wife? No can send people outside your castle (speaking about your home).
It's not easy, but how do we say yes as often as possible?
Starting small, just say yes, then figure out how!
It has helped me personally in church when serving people, in speaking engagements and overcoming a fear of public speaking, and keep the door open for new opportunities when they show up!
