After experiencing a difficult labor while birthing, a cesarean section was recommended for Lucia Pavone. The incision was real and yet, for Lucia, a young married woman, it seemed to cut off more than just what was necessary. Fast-forward to a casual comment by a loved one; Lucia realized she had lost a part of herself, that fun rebel who lived an adventurous life. She made the decision to rediscover herself again, and reclaim a new identity. Lucia found that sexual energy was much more than just something for making babies: pleasure could heal.
