Barry and Julia are in awe of this four-person drama from writer/director Fran Kranz. Why does this film, about a conversation taking place in a single room, work without feeling claustrophobic, overly stagey or like a self-indulgent actor’s exercise? It’s a serious work and we’re happy to discuss this, one of the best films of 2021.
