Norine and Marcia discussed the many events that can precipitate traumatic reactions for people in the workplace. We typically think of workplace 'violence' upon hearing about trauma in the workplace, but we discussed some major scenarios and how they tend to directly affect employees differently. We followed up with what employers may want to do to identify and assess risk for potential events, and how they can help employees through the trauma.
