Come in and know me better, fam! It's Day 1 of the 25 Days of a Christmas Carol and I'm going all the way back to the beginning for a look at the very first filmed adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Though only 3 and a half minutes of footage still exists," Scrooge, or, Marley's Ghost" is a pretty impressive display of special effects from the dawn of the age of film. I also spend a little bit of time putting the novella in context and hopefully it's a fun enough listen that you'll come back tomorrow for the first full-dive in a feature length film.
