• Hi! And welcome back to confident Christian women. I'm Michelle Bowman, and I want to encourage you today.
• Alright! So one of the biggest things that holds us back
• in walking, in confidence. Do you know what it is?
• It's fear, alright. Fear will cause you to
• worry about what other people think fear will cause you to worry about
• how you look. what you're wearing. what other people think of you.
• and it can cause you to not do what God has called you to do. So I want to encourage you. One of the biggest things I want to encourage you is to
• memorize second Timothy 1 7. It's one of my favorite Scriptures.
• God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a power and love and a sound mind. and that's what you need to remember. Fear does not come from God when it, when it is fear that makes you feel inadequate.
• That is not of God.
• because I will tell you this. You are inadequate. I'm inadequate unless we have our confidence fully in Christ, and what He's doing through us.
So you have to be diligent. all right, and you have to be paying attention all the time to the ways that you're thinking, the ways that you're reacting to what you're doing what you're wearing.
• how you're speaking don't hold back
• because you're afraid of what others will think. Don't hold back because of other people's opinions. The biggest weight you will ever lose is the opinions of others.
• When you realize the most important opinion is what God thinks. and stop letting other people's opinions. Social media's opinions
• hold, hold you back. When you stop allowing that to happen. you will have victory. You will feel so much freedom
• because you'll realize you are one of a kind, unique creation.
• You don't have to be exactly like anyone else. Your way of speaking, your way of teaching, your way of dressing and looking, and all those things
• you don't have to be like anyone else. You are unique. You are one of a kind. God has given you talents to help other people. He's given you a message, and you need to speak it with boldness. Stop being afraid
All right. That is my encouragement for today.
So don't forget. Don't allow fear to intimidate you. Fear is a liar. Second, Timothy, 1, 7. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but a power and love and a sound mind.
