In this episode
This episode goes out to all the moms/business women/caregivers who always put everyone else first and suffer from something we all know well “MOM GUILT”.
No matter how much we do for our children, how much love we give we will never feel like we are doing enough.
In truth the fact we have guilt at all shows that we are good moms and they we love them dearly.
Key Take aways
1. The fact that you have guilt means you are a good mom
2. To the woman who is going full out working and full out as a mom
a. when at work be 100% at work. When at home be 100% at home.
b. Set aside 30 to 60 minutes daily to be 100% with the kids. Then you won’t have to feel guilty when you can’t be on occasion
3. To the mom is exhausted, ill or just burnt out. I see you. Please remember to do something for you. Self-care is not selfish. It shows your children it is just as important to take care of themselves as it is others. You cannot pour from an empty cup.
4. To all moms allow yourself some alone time. If that means setting the alarm to get up 30 minutes before every-one else then do it. It will be worth it.
