Kym L. Worthy has been the Wayne County Prosecutor since 2004, when she became the first female African American to hold the position. In this episode, Prosecutor Worthy talks about serving the biggest prosecutor’s office in the state and her initiatives to make Wayne County a better, safer place. These initiatives include police transparency and accountability, processing rape kits, and what the process will be to reopen the courts to jury trials.
Sen. Adam Hollier (D–Detroit) represents residents of the 2nd District in Wayne County that includes the cities of Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Woods, Hamtramck, Harper Woods and Highland Park, and the Village of Grosse Pointe Shores.
