Season 2 kicks off for the CCCB boys with the reason this whole podcast started… literally. A deep love for the legend that is Samurai Jack might have been the first conversation about cartoons we had… which immediately led to the Step Brother’s style “What to do karate in the garage?” version of “Let’s start a podcast.”
This show means the world to animation nuts like us. It blew our teenage minds to find out that this mostly kiddy platform could pull off artistry; that with small amounts dialogue, you could tell such a massive story. This did both perfectly AND was pumped full of action and comedy. The Phil LaMarr and Genndy Tartakovsky combination is perfect and Mako crushes the best villain role of all time like it’s the role he was genetically created to play.
