Look, my friends: I promise you it doesn't have to be so hard. You don't have to beat the shit out of yourself to make progress. I see people "hate fuck" exercise and diet stuff all the time, and I'll tell you: from the bottom of my heart- it doesn't work long term, and it's probably why you've struggled with it so much. I usually don't like to dealve too much into wellness stuff on the podcast, but I felt like it needed to be spoken to. The fitness industry monetizes the fact that 1) you don't know the science of what really works and 2) that you likely feel bad about yourself.
Spoiler alert: the most effective fitness and diet protocol for you is the one you can stick to long term. Keto? Weight Watchers? Whole 30? Crossfit? Barre? HiiT, Kickboxing? Orange Theory? DOESN'T MATTER.
Here's the bottom line: Be consistent, slow and steady wins it and make sure you LIFT WEIGHTS. You're welcome. Love you guys.
