Description

Comparison is the thief of joy, right? So why do we engage with it so much? It causes pain and even worse moves us away from who we really are. We talk today about that and the difference between two types of motivation: Intrinsic and Extrinsic. Intrinsic motivation is the kind where you do something because it feels right to you and for you, where extrinsic motivation is when you do something based on something outside of yourself like acceptance, approval from others or monetarty gains. It's inherently obvious that comparsion is a big issue, but just because it's obvious doesn't mean that it's not important to highlight. I hope this one helps you to explore how you'tre motivated and choose the type that moves you closer to who you're meant to be.
