As he started his basketball journey he learned from coaches, at UCLA he learned from Jordan Farmar and in the NBA he learned from many but one specific guard was Chris Paul. To be willing to humble himself to have the mindset that he could learn from anyone is uncharacteristic. Darren has a team first mentality and that made him an enjoyable piece to players and NBA GM's alike. Darren holds the record for most games played in a UCLA career.
