"I’m not saying I’m the best. I’m saying I’m doing my best." - Federica Bressan

We love getting the perspective from different people and their relationship with the arts and how it has impacted their health. Federica Bressan joins us from Italy, who says music saved her life. She has a fascinating story about how music was her saving grace through a difficult childhood. She rediscovered her artist self when she stepped away from performing professionally and started creating for herself. She also shares her views on music education and it was interesting hearing the similarities between academic music education in Italy and what happens in the United States.

Federica is an Italian and Slovenian digital nomad who's just turned 40 this year, and she is starting her third career - in communication. She is a podcaster and conducts video interviews on science and technology on YouTube. Previously, she worked as a musician and an academic researcher - her research revolved around audio, music, and sound recordings. She plays several instruments, she's currently learning the electric guitar, and no question about it - music saved her life. Many times.
