Today's program is a great one, as we welcome on 1980 National Champion, Former Sioux Hockey Player, and current host of Around the Rink on 740 The Fan, Travis Dunn. Travis tells us some incredible stories from the team back in the day! We talk about what it was like playing for legendary coach Gino Gasparini, with players like Dave Christian, Herb Brooks making physical threats in the bowels of the old rink in Minot, and Dean Blais chucking knuckles in the back room of the Ground Round. The boys were speechless in this interview with the amount of stories and name drops that Travis let us in on! We talk about the game against Omaha, the success of the UND Football program, as well as a few of our own stories from our glory days. We cap off our banter part of the show with a Gold Medal draft of our favorite Greater Grand Forks establishments! This one is a favorite, and we hope you will enjoy it!
