Big Idea: Just PUSH your ROCK.
Psalm 18:1-6
I. What do you do when your deliverance is delayed…just PUSH your ROCK.
Psalm 18:1-2
I love you, Lord, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliver, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
II. When you don’t feel worthy… just PUSH your ROCK.
Psalm 18:3-4
I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I was saved from my enemies. The ropes of death were wrapped around me; the torrents of destruction terrified me.
III. When life gets you down… just PUSH your ROCK
Psalm 18:5-6
The ropes of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. I called to the LORD in my distress, and I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
Next Steps:
Believe: I will push my rock this week.
Become: I need to exercise my faith this week.
Be Sent: I will serve others by being more obedient to God this week.
