Description

Alyssa has been a personal trainer in the New England area for 3+ years now, she is also a corrective exercise specialist and has taught women's self defense classes in the past. She has dedicated herself to helping her clients achieve great things and stay focused within personalized training programs. She is also my coworker and a great friend and positive influence! We talk about how Covid-19 has impacted the fitness industry from two personal trainer's perspectives, how one can nurture a commitment to fitness and a healthy diet while balancing the rest of their life, the importance of the client/trainer relationship, weightlifting as an "outlet", using competition to drive you without obsessing over someone else's journey, and how youths can get out of their comfort zone in the gym.
