A. Reasons why one may not dip vessels on Shabbat:
1. Rabbah – gezera of carrying
Seven challenges:
a. Private cistern prohibited
b. Yom Tov prohibited
c. Hashakah is permitted
d. Drawing water is permitted
e. Became impure on Yom Tov is permitted
f. Low level impurity is permitted
g. Niddah with clothing is permitted
2. Rav Yosef - May come to wring out clothing
3. Rav Bevai - May delay and cause mixups
4. Rava - Looks like repairing
