May is Mental Health Awareness Month so it's fitting we start this month with therapy talks!

Being vulnerable is hard, but that's exactly was what done this week. This week I share my journey with therapy, when and why I started, what I've gotten out of it. I open up during story time about my upcoming session(s) and my struggle with empathy. I break down a few myths of what therapy isn't, and laugh along the way. As a bonus I touch on why everyone can benefit from therapy even if nothing "major" has happened in your life. Lastly, I briefly describe healing versus growth therapy.
