Engineer, author, social justice warrior, web design guru, media treatment creator, project manager and Queen! That is among the few hats Winnie wears. We bond over our shared experience of diversity and inclusion committees, the importance of contextual data (well realistic data). Later on we touch on a few subject that are also in her book, "Confessions of A Tiyad Black Woman Navigating A Fragile White World." We touch on several projects that are dear to Winnie like her first e-baby, African Engineering News and the Harassment & Assault Reporting Platform (HARP). Giving back is huge for Winnie! Young Professionals of Color came out of a need to help younger people coming up through STEM programs who were still experiencing similar issues.
